As a follow up to our earlier announcement, Oracle Database 12cR1 Version 12.1.0.2 is now certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 for 12.1 on the following additional platform:
Release 12.1 (12.1.3 and higher):
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit) (10, 11)
This is a 'database tier only' or 'split tier configuration' certification where the application tier must be on a fully certified E-Business Suite platform.

In addition, the Export/Import process for EBS release 12.0 or 12.1 with Oracle Database 12cR1 Version 12.1.0.2 is now certified.
Certification data in My Oracle Support (http://support.oracle.com) is being updated with this information - please review the documents below for all requirements and additional details:

Using Oracle EBS Release 12.0 or 12.1 with a Database Tier Only Platform on RDBMS 12.1 (Note 1585648.1)
