Hi,
How can we upload opening balances, I have a confusion, bcz we are using Clearing ac in subledger module in AP and AR, and these bring the balances in GL and then reverse these lines in GL and after that upload manual Trial balance with the actuals ac in GL. What should we do?

Whether we should use clearing ac or we should use actual ac at the time of entering exps.

 

Hi,
I think it depends on the Accounting Year of your org whihc have you.

But if you are loading opening balances at the beginning of the accounting year for your org, then you will have only Assets and Liabilities and therefore you must use only clearing account.

If you are Loading opening balances at the middle of the accounting Year, then you might need to take care of the Expenses and Revenues Loading also.
