ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object
#1
Hi,
I have created a function in which a table is accessed through the database link
when I compile it shows the following error:

ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object abc_OWNER.ALL_TAB_COLUMNS@db_abc_LINK
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred

Can anyone help?

The major reason is due to invalid dblink, suggestion is to re-create db link by following proper method.
if you will still face issue, search on my support there are number of notes available to address these type of issues.
thanks
